Officially launched in October 2022, VGU's Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) was formed to extend the university's academic reach through flexible, technology-enabled learning. CDOE delivers UGC-DEB-approved UG and PG programs through both Online (OL) and Open & Distance Learning (ODL) modes, enabling students from across the country and globe to earn a fully recognized degree without geographical constraints.

VGU's Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) offers a carefully curated set of UG and PG programs in management, computer applications, arts, and science. The fees are transparent and affordable, with BBA and BCA programs costing INR 61,000 for the full program, and MBA and MCA at INR 59,000 for the full program. An additional examination fee of INR 1,500 per semester is charged separately. Students who choose to pay annually get a 10% concession and a 15% concession for full upfront payment.

A VGU online or distance degree is treated at par with a regular on-campus degree. You will be eligible for State and Central Government jobs, private sector employment, higher studies (PhD), and international jobs or education abroad. VGU CDOE welcomes learners from all backgrounds — freshers, working professionals, government employees, homemakers, and international students. For UG programs (BBA, BCA, BA), candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with a minimum of 40% marks. For PG programs (MBA, MCA, MSc Maths, MA), a bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 45–50% marks from a UGC-recognized university is required. MCA requires an additional entrance test administered by the university.
VGU CDOE admissions are fully online and merit-based for most programs. The university offers two academic sessions annually — January and July. MCA is the only program that requires an entrance test; all other programs admit students based on qualifying examination performance. The application fee is INR 1,000 (non-refundable) for all programs.

Step 5: Pay the INR 1,000 application fee through available online payment methods.
Step 6: Pay the first semester or full program fee as per your chosen payment plan. Students opting for full payment receive a 15% fee concession.
Step 7: The university's enrolment team will verify your documents. After successful verification, your enrolment number will be generated and LMS credentials will be shared.
